Play Topco S.A. is a public limited liability company (société anonyme) established in Luxembourg in 2014 to identify, invest in and manage listed and non-listed companies principally in the European telecommunications sector.
Strategy, mission and values
Play Topco S.A works with management teams, advisors and stakeholders to create a working relationship based on mutual respect that is engaging, enjoyable, ambitious and successful.
As a professional shareholder, Play Topco S.A. is focused on generating long-term value for its investors by identifying outstanding opportunities, particularly “special situations”, in the European telecommunications sector and providing support to the management teams of its portfolio companies in the form of expert professionals with many years’ experience in the telecommunications sector. Direct board representation at investee company level may be considered on a case-by-case basis, whereby an emphasis is put on creating a strong team to generate long-term success and value for all stakeholders.

Tatiana Fafaliou
Chief Investment Officer

Tatiana Fafaliou is Chief Investment Officer of the Olympia group. She joined the Olympia group in 2004 from JP Morgan in London. Tatiana also serves as a board member of various holding and operating companies in the Olympia group.
Tatiana holds a BSc in International Economics and Finance from the Athens University of Economics & Business and holds a postgraduate degree in Eastern European and Russian Economics from the London School of Economics.

Jan Rottiers
Director of the Novator group
in Luxembourg
Jan Rottiers has been a Director of the Novator group in Luxembourg since 2009 and is a board member of various companies. His previous experience includes senior positions with Deloitte in Luxembourg, both in the audit and the advisory departments, with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in the United Arab Emirates and with Landsbanki in Luxembourg.
Jan graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Louvain (Belgium) in 1987 and subsequently obtained a M.B.A. (with a major in Finance) from the same university.

George graduated in 1994 from the University of Crete (School of Social Sciences, Dept. of Economics) with a BSc in Economics, in 1999 from the National University of Athens (Law School) with BSc in Law, and in 2002 from the University of Leicester with a M.B.A. (with a major in Finance).

Sigthor Sigmarsson
Board member of Nova
Sigthor Sigmarsson has been with the Novator group since 2006 and has more than 20 years’ experience in banking and private equity, including treasury, risk management, capital markets and investments. Sigthor is a board member of Nova, Iceland’s largest mobile operator, a board member of Xantis pharma and a Chairman of the board of MF1, a mezzanine fund operating in Iceland.
Sigthor has C.Sc. degree in electronic engineering (1995) and chartered securities broker (2002).

Shareholders
The Olympia group is currently in its fourth decade of successful international presence. Through its participations Olympia Group has created a broad corporate active ecosystem in the following business sectors: telecommunications, retail of technology products, wholesale distribution of technology products, energy storage market and industrial recycling.
The Novator group’s expertise and focus is principally in the telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, technology, financial services and natural resources sectors. The Novator group has made significant investments in the telecommunications sector in recent years and its current portfolio comprises WOM in Chile and NOVA in Iceland.
Investments
P4 sp. z o.o., operating under brand “Play” (“P4”, “Play”, “the Company”) was commercially launched in 2007. Play is a consumer-focused mobile network operator in Poland with approximately 14.4 million subscribers as of March 31, 2016.
The Company provides mobile voice, messaging and data offerings and services to consumers and businesses (in particular to small office/home office subscribers and small/medium enterprises) on a contract and prepaid basis. The principal focus is
contract subscribers, who generate significantly higher ARPU and have lower churn rates than prepaid subscribers.
Play is a clear leader in subscriber net additions in Poland, with higher than 50% market share of contract subscriber net additions on average from the inception of the company till the end of 2015 of the four Polish mobile telecommunications
operators as of March 31, 2016, allowing to achieve an overall market share of 25.5% in terms of reported subscribers as of March 31, 2016.
